How every SENSE program is specified
The system treats. The platform holds the range.
Each SENSE program is a complete specification: Advanced Clean tech in the train, a defined circuit of water, and Intelligence CBI holding the operating range — without a chemical dosing program.
01 · Circuit
The loop
A defined body of water — cooling, hot, cold, process, or wastewater — specified as part of one living plant circuit, not five separate contracts.
02 · System
The treatment
Electrochemical and hybrid Advanced Clean tech treat the water in place. No inhibitor or biocide program is specified with the installation.
03 · Application
The range
Intelligence CBI monitors the site, proposes action, and keeps the train inside its operating envelope — with an audit trail operators and inspectors can read.
04 · Duties
The four jobs
Scaling, corrosion, disinfection, and turbidity — the same responsibilities on every SENSE configuration, sized to the water and the code that governs it.
Domains
Cooling, hot, cold, process, wastewater — engineered as one system.
Five waters in every serious plant, almost always specified as five contracts. Makeup becomes cooling; blowdown becomes wastewater; hot and cold share pathogens and scale; process quality is inherited from the incoming main. We design the loops as a circuit — Advanced Clean tech in the train, Intelligence CBI on the index — so water, energy, CO₂, durability, and downtime are one language, under the regulation that applies.

Circuit
Cold feeds the rest. Cooling and process return as blowdown and reject. Wastewater, treated, becomes makeup again. Hot and cold share the Water Management Program. Intelligence CBI sits on the circuit, not on a single loop.
Domain 01 · Heat rejection
Cool
Cooling Water
In Cold makeup · Out Blowdown to waste / reuse
Open and closed cooling, condensers, cooling towers, and district loops. Scale, corrosion, biofilm, and Legionella travel with wasted energy: a fouled exchanger is a carbon event as well as a water event. We specify electrochemical and hybrid trains that hold heat-transfer surface clean without inhibitor programmes — cycles raised, blowdown cut, kWh recovered.
Calcium carbonate, corrosion cells, and biofilm compete on the same metal. Chemical programmes treat symptoms and load the blowdown. Electrocoagulation, electro-oxidation, and disciplined concentration cycles treat the physics — then Intelligence CBI watches approach temperature, cycles, WQI, and Legionella conditions as one picture.
CBI Live WQI, cycles of concentration, approach temperature, Legionella conditions, makeup vs blowdown, kWh and CO₂ versus baseline.
- Scale and corrosion without chemicals
- Biofilm and Legionella in the tower
- Energy and CO₂ from clean exchangers
- Makeup, cycles, blowdown as one balance
- Fewer forced outages — uptime designed in
Domain 02 · Domestic & process heat
Hot
Hot Water
In Cold feed & recovered heat · Out Return, drain, Legionella risk
Calorifiers, DHWS, heat exchangers, and circulating hot-water systems — the classic Legionella reservoir when temperature, stagnation, and scale coincide. Water Management Program practice is not a binder on a shelf: ASHRAE 188, CDC toolkit, and CMS expectation applied in the asset.
Scale on the calorifier wall is a thermal insulator and a habitat. Temperature drops in dead legs. We hold the metal clean with electrochemical control, keep temperature and flow inside the WMP envelope, and add UV or oxidative barriers where the code and the risk require it — without a chemical residual the programme cannot carry.
CBI Flow, temperature, stagnation, scale index, WMP control measures, pathogen conditions — the event is visible before the lab result.
- Legionella and WMP control measures
- Scale in calorifiers and plate exchangers
- Temperature, flow, and stagnation
- Healthcare, hospitality, campus, and towers
- Durability of vessels — less downtime for descale
Domain 03 · Potable & incoming
Cold
Cold Water
In Mains / groundwater / reuse · Out Feed to hot, process, cooling
Incoming mains, storage, and cold distribution — lead, disinfection by-products, groundwater influence, biofilm on the cold side, and the chemistry that sets everything downstream. Cold water is not a utility that arrives finished. It is the start of the plant’s water story.
What the meter delivers becomes cooling makeup, hot-water feed, and process specification. Lead and Copper Rule trajectories, DBPs, nitrates, PFAS, and stagnation in storage are not ‘cold-water problems’: they are inherited by every other domain. We treat, store, and watch at the origin.
CBI Incoming quality, storage hygiene, lead and DBP indicators, groundwater influence, the feed quality every other loop will inherit.
- Lead, DBPs, PFAS, incoming chemistry
- Storage tanks and stagnation
- Groundwater and mains contamination
- The feed that every other loop inherits
- Public-health duty at the meter
Domain 04 · Production quality
Process
Process Water
In Cold / treated / reused · Out Reject to waste / internal recycle
The water that touches product, batch, or critical utility — industry, pharma, food, airports, and high-spec manufacturing. Conductivity, organics, particles, microbes: specified to the process, not a generic skid. Cost of production is water chemistry, energy, and downtime — not only a tariff.
Advanced Clean tech assembled to the challenge: electrochemical for load, nano and membranes for a physical barrier, UV and ozone where disinfection or micropollutants close the spec. Validated. Left under CBI so quality is an operating metric, not a certificate on the wall. Reject is a wastewater domain, not a drain.
CBI Spec versus live quality, batch traceability, reuse inside the envelope, energy per m³, unplanned stops attributed to water.
- Product-contact and clean utilities
- Organic and inorganic load at source
- Reuse inside the process envelope
- Traceability for regulated manufacturing
- Lower cost of production, less downtime
Domain 05 · Discharge & recovery
Waste
Wastewater
In Blowdown, reject, effluent · Out Reuse to cold / process / cooling
Effluent, blowdown, and internal recycle. Turbidity, COD, metals, colour, emerging contaminants — a resource where reuse is the brief, a permit where discharge is the duty. Closing this loop is the largest water saving most plants still leave on the table, and a carbon saving when makeup and pumping fall with it.
Biological, electrochemical, and oxidative steps hybridized to the stream — electrocoagulation, bio, UV, O₃, nano where PFAS or particles demand a barrier. What leaves is measured against the permit. What returns is credited in m³, kWh, and CO₂ on the same picture as cooling cycles and process spec.
CBI Discharge versus permit, reuse credit, PFAS and emerging load, energy of treatment, the makeup that no longer needs to be bought.
- Discharge permits and reuse targets
- Electrocoagulation, bio, UV, O₃, nano
- PFAS and emerging contaminants
- Closing the loop with makeup water
- Water, energy, CO₂ credited as one saving
One index
The plant is a living circuit. CBI is the meter.
Cooling cycles, hot-water risk, cold-water chemistry, process specification, and wastewater recovery on the same operating picture. Water saved, energy recovered, CO₂ down, infrastructure lasting, cost of production and downtime designed out — visible together, so an event in one domain is seen by the others before it becomes a failure.
Challenges we take on
Scaling, corrosion, disinfection, reuse — and the problems that do not fit a catalogue.
Scaling Prevention
Electrochemical control that keeps heat exchangers, condensers, and loops free of scale — without inhibitors, with measurable energy recovery, lower CO₂, and fewer forced outages.

12 · Report
Evidence, not theatre
Water, kWh, and CO₂ credited against baseline. ESG and board packs drawn from the same operating index the shift uses — one number system, two audiences.
Duty stack
WMP. Cyber. Stealth quality. Risk. Bio-sensing.
Intelligence CBI is built so public health and cyber-physical security are one operating picture. A Water Management Program is not a binder on a shelf. Quality that drifts in silence is still an event.
WMP
Water Management Program
ASHRAE 188 and the CDC toolkit held as live control measures — team, water systems, hazardous conditions, monitoring, confirmation, and documentation — so CMS-facing sites and commercial portfolios run one auditable program.
Cyber
Cyber security for water
OT, SCADA, telemetry, and the cloud intelligence layer treated as a single surface. NIS2, CISA water-sector guidance, and plant override. A packet can become a water event; the desk is built for that fact.
Stealth
Water-quality stealth
Deviations that do not announce themselves — slow chemistry drift, biofilm ahead of a plate count, a dead-leg that only fails on a Tuesday. The index is designed to surface the quiet path, not only the alarm.
Risk
Risk assessment
Legionella and waterborne-pathogen conditions mapped to the asset: temperature, stagnation, scale, aerosol, population at risk. Scored, prioritized, and tied to a control measure the operator can execute.
Sensor
AI bio-sensor
Biological signal in the loop — not a weekly lab as the first notice. Models read in-line and at-line sensing, propose action, and keep an audit trail from indication to sample to corrective step.

Pathogen early-warning, live Water Quality Index, digital-twin scenarios, and operator override on the same picture. Healthcare, towers, utilities, and process water — one language for the shift and the inspector.
Horizon scan
Advanced Clean tech and emerging technologiesWatched, qualified and integrated
A continuous R&D intelligence desk for the water domain. We scan the methods, models, materials, and regulations that will define the next decade — then qualify them against living plants, so programs are designed for what is coming, not only what is already installed.
R&D intelligence
Not a clipping service. A qualification engine.
Horizon scan sits beside field practice and Intelligence CBI. Signals are captured across the USA, EU, Canada, the Middle East, Latin America, Africa, and Asia-Pacific — pilots, patents, papers, alliance R&D, market movement, and the codes that will bind operators. Each signal is sieved through decades of hands-on work: if it cannot hold in a living loop, under fouling, load, and regulation, it does not enter a program. What survives is mapped to SENSE process families and to a technology-to-market path.
Method
Five gates from signal to the plant.
01
Signal
Continuous capture across pilots, patents, papers, alliance R&D, regulation, and market movement — USA, EU, and the corridors where water technology actually moves.
02
Qualify
Field filter. Does it hold in a living plant, under fouling, load, and operators — or only in a paper? Twenty-five years of hands-on practice is the sieve.
03
Fit
Mapped to water type, sector, asset, and the code that governs it. Cooling is not drinking water; a hospital is not a refinery. The scan names the fit, or names the gap.
04
Integrate
A path into SENSE process families and Intelligence CBI — electrochemical, nano, biological, UV, O₃, sensing — specified as one system, commissioned, left in the loop.
05
Technology-to-market
From watch-list to pilot to fleet. Evidence, not theatre. Public and private counterparts, internationally, with a program that can be audited.
Lenses
What the desk actually watches.
Process physics
Electrochemical trains, nano and membranes, biological process, UV, ozone, advanced oxidation — the vanguard of Advanced Clean tech, assembled to the challenge.
Intelligence
AI for water quality, digital twins, sensing, live Water Quality Index — models that explain action, not only flag a number.
Public health & contaminants
Legionella and WMP practice, PFAS, lead, DBPs, groundwater, micropollutants — quality and health held as one discipline.
Cyber-physical operations
OT, telemetry, cloud stewardship, remote operations — contamination and cyber treated as one operating picture.
Regulation & market
USA and EU in parallel: what authorities will require, what operators will specify, and which technologies will be asked to answer.
Watch list
Fourteen signals in the current scan.
01 Process
Electrochemical water treatment
Next-generation electrochemical, electrocoagulation, and electro-oxidation trains — chemical-free scale, corrosion, and contaminant control, modular for retrofit. Qualified in living loops, not as a slide.
02 Intelligence
AI for water quality
Models that do not wait for a lab result: they propose, prioritize, and explain corrective action across WQI, pathogens, energy, and operations — inside Intelligence CBI, with an audit trail.
03 Intelligence
Digital twins of building water
Living models of loops, tanks, and cooling plant — used for scenario testing, Legionella risk, and energy-water trade-offs before a valve is turned. The twin is a decision instrument, not a rendering.
04 Public health
Pathogen early-warning
Continuous indication of conditions that favor Legionella and other waterborne pathogens, tied to Water Management Program control measures, laboratory evidence, and ASHRAE / CDC practice.
05 Contaminants
Emerging contaminants — PFAS and beyond
Horizon watch on PFAS, PFOA/PFOS, microplastics, residuals, and the treatment families asked to address them — electrochemical, nano, sorption, destruction — without defaulting to more chemicals.
06 Cyber
Cyber-physical water security
OT, SCADA, remote telemetry, and cloud intelligence — secured as a single surface, because a water event can now begin as a packet. Mapped to NIS2, CISA water-sector guidance, and plant reality.
07 Process
Water–energy nexus
Quantified savings in kWh, m³, and CO₂ when advanced treatment and intelligence replace chemical programs and inefficient blowdown — with longer asset life and less downtime, reported as operating evidence.
08 Operations
Remote, cloud-native operations
Secure remote control and collaborative dashboards — so specialists in one country can steward assets in another, with audit trails, GDPR-aware data design, and operator override.
09 Process
Nano technology and membranes
Nano-scale separations and materials specified where particles, pathogens, or emerging contaminants demand a physical barrier — sized to the water, the recovery, and the foulant, not a catalogue pore size.
10 Process
Biological process and reuse
Living treatment trains for organic load, nutrient, and water reuse — hybridized with electrochemical and oxidative steps where the discharge or the product water requires it.
11 Process
UV, ozone, and advanced oxidation
Physical and oxidative barriers — UV, O₃, AOP — assembled into the train where disinfection, micropollutants, or colour must be closed without a chemical residual the program cannot carry.
12 Intelligence
Sensing and real-time WQI
In-line and at-line sensing that turns water quality from a lagging sample into a live index — bacterial risk, chemistry, energy, and deviation — visible to operators and executives on the same picture.
13 Contaminants
Lead, DBPs, and drinking-water chemistry
Lead and Copper Rule trajectories, disinfection by-products, groundwater intrusion, and distribution chemistry — watched as regulation and as treatment physics, USA and EU in parallel.
14 Regulation
Regulatory and market horizon
ASHRAE 188, CDC WMP, CMS, EU Drinking Water Directive, NIS2, PFAS MCLs, GDPR — interpreted for the asset, so a scan is already a compliance path, not a clipping service.

About
Our DNA lies in developing projects driven by innovation and Advanced Clean tech
More than twenty-five years of field command in operating plants, across continents. That depth now lives in one practice — Advanced Clean tech, artificial intelligence, and Collaborative Business Intelligence — with a chemical-free process, and programmes specified, commissioned, and left in the loop.
Why this practice
Hands-on internationally — then spun into intelligence.
The same practice, in four registers: field depth, markets, intelligence, and work left in the loop.
01 · Field
Inside the plant
With more than 25 years of enhanced, hands-on experience — inside plants, loops, and regulated facilities on different continents — we take on the water challenges that a desk study cannot close: large-volume savings in water and energy, CO₂ down with them, zero chemicals in the process, Advanced Clean tech in the train, infrastructure lasting longer, cost of production and downtime rewritten in the asset.
02 · Markets
Grown across corridors
Having a strong foundation in leading water technologies — honed inside a prominent company in one of the world’s most demanding ecosystems — our work expanding business across Europe, North America, Latin America and beyond demonstrates an ability to drive growth and adapt across markets and sectors: industry, healthcare, real estate, public, pharma, airports, and critical infrastructures.
03 · Intelligence
Spun into the platform
Building on this experience, we spun off to create a cutting-edge smart business intelligence platform powered by AI, designed to streamline the integration of advanced technologies. The platform prioritizes protecting public health and ensuring water quality — and it quantifies water, energy, carbon, and uptime as the operating proof.
04 · Commission
Left in the loop
We do so by designing and implementing the technological solutions that belong in the loop — innovation and a sustainable platform driven by AI. Hands-on command of emerging and Advanced Clean tech, their integration, commissioning, and long support, is how operators in every sector receive best practice: proven, not proposed.

Practice
Field first
Twenty-five years in living plants. If a method cannot hold under fouling, load, and operators, it does not enter a programme.
Platform
Intelligence CBI
The spin-off is the operating picture — public health, water quality, energy, carbon, and cyber — so integration is a system, not a stack of vendors.
Duty
Health and security
Legionella and WMP practice, quality stealth, and cyber-physical risk held together. Contamination and a packet are the same class of event.
